Born and raised in Columbia, SC, Chef Nicholas Drayton acquired his passion for cooking from his mother and grandmother at the age of 16. From an early age he would watch them in the kitchen making southern dishes, hence developing his passion for cooking. He knew he wanted to do something great, so he began cooking for family and friends. He would cook for small parties and family celebrations. His continued passion and determination led him into opening his own catering and private chef business. Being an Army veteran for 13 years has allowed him to experience food and to concoct various taste steering dishes that appeal to many people. In 2015, Chef Drayton created NDP homemade BBQ sauce which extended his expertise in flavor and creativity. Searching for the perfect sauce for his ribs, his award-winning sauce was born. Chef Nicholas Drayton continues to explore his passion for cooking through fresh ideas and giving back to his community.
